Hiring Range: Minimum Starting Salary is $42,000 commensurate with experience.

Job Duties:
The Division of Services within the Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired (DBVI) will provide a quality program of individualized rehabilitation services, educational consultation, technical assistance, and instruction that will empower eligible individuals to achieve their desired levels of independence consistent with their abilities and informed choices.
We are seeking someone to assist the Regional Manager in the management of the office through the coordination of administrative functions, including supervision of administrative staff and administrative activities to ensure the timely and accurate completion of the information necessary to allow for the provision of comprehensive services to individuals.
Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
Knowledge/Experience:
• Knowledge of and experience in office management and supervision.
• Knowledge of fiscal guidelines as related to purchase orders and invoicing.
• Experience with office procedures.
• Computer skills in MS office.
Ability/Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Additional Considerations:
• Prefer previous experience in human services program.
• Knowledge of state procurement processes.
• Knowledge of blind and vision impaired.
Special Instructions:
• This has been designated a sensitive position under Va. Code § 2.2-1201.1.
• A fingerprint-based criminal history check will be required of the finalist candidate.
• The selected candidate must complete a Statement of Personal Economic Interests as a condition of employment (Va. Code § 2.2-3114).
