It’s time to look at Taylor.Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a 2nd Shift Equipment Operator to join the Finishing Department at Corporate Graphics Commercial! You will be responsible for operating equipment that produces hardcover books.Your Shift:Monday - Thursday, 2:30pm - 1:00am (4x10 hour shifts)Overtime opportunities available!Your Responsibilities:Properly set up the casemaker equipment to the specifications required, and operate the machine producing the best quality product possible in a productive mannerRead and interpret work orders, blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machineryMaintain the equipment in good working condition through a regular maintenance scheduleMaintain a clean and organized work areaAccurately maintain a daily production sheet and properly log all production information and material into the Hagen systemPerform any other duties as required by the supervisorYou Must Have:Beginner mechanical skills to properly setup and and operate casemaker equipment.Ability to pick out fine details and monitor jobs for qualityWillingness to follow instructions and guidelines, either written or verbalWe Would Also Prefer:Prior equipment operator experience or experience in a production environmentAbout Taylor CorporationOne of the top five graphics communications companies in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
