Berglund Ford is looking for an Experienced Service Manager. We are part of Berglund Automotive, a well-established and reputable automotive group with 10 locations, representing 20 different automotive brands throughout Southwest and Central Virginia.
We are looking for a Service Manager that provides leadership to the team through continuous support, training, and development as well as ensuring that customers receive high-quality maintenance and repair services.
Job Summary:
As a Service Manager at Berglund Ford, you will be responsible for overseeing the service and maintenance operations for the dealership.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of service technicians and service advisors, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
* Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service by providing concierge support to build a positive relationship with customers.
* Oversee the quality and accuracy of repair and maintenance work.
* Handling conflicts that may arise within the service department and addressing customer complaints in a professional and effective manner.
* Distribute work between technicians.
* Prioritize required services.
Additional Information
Qualifications: * Team player. * Previous experience in automotive billing or related field preferred. * Proficient in using billing software and Microsoft Office applications. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * High school diploma or equivalent.
