Description:
Do you have a fascination with the human body and want to work in the medical field? Does scrubbing in to work in a surgical OR sound like just the position you are looking for?
LifeCenter Organ Donor Network is recruiting for a Full Time Organ Recovery Specialist . This position is one of our primary roles in fulfilling our mission of organ, eye and tissue donation. This position is responsible for solid organ procurement.
Requirements:
1. Flush and package organs for transplant according to industry standards
2. Responsible for receiving and distributing imported organs to area hospitals
3. Assist with biopsies for imported kidneys
4. Be available for fly-outs and on call responsibilities
5. Work with other team members in the donation process
6. Will perfuse kidneys
7. Have an understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology
