Position : Wet Cast Laborer
Job Location: Stacy, MN
Compensation: $24/hour
Work Schedule : Monday -Friday (4am -2pm)
Overview:
As a Wet Cast Laborer, you will play a vital role in the production of wet cast concrete products. You will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
Job Details :
• Operate machinery and equipment to produce wet cast concrete products according to specifications
• Transport raw materials, including aggregate, cement, and additives to the production area
• Prepare molds for casting by applying release agents, setting reinforcements, and ensuring proper alignment
• Pour concrete into molds, vibrate to remove air bubbles and finish surfaces to achieve desired textures and appearance
• Clean work areas, equipment, and tools regularly to maintain a safe and organized workspace. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and report any issues to supervisors
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Always wear appropriate PPE
• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to optimize production processes, troubleshoot issues, and achieve productions targets
Applicant Requirements: • High School Graduate or equivalent
• Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry and move object weighing up to 50lbs
• Close attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products
• Basic understanding of machinery and equipment operation. Previous experience with concrete production or similar manufacturing processes is a plus, but not required
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
