We are adding additional production lines and seeking highly experienced and detail-oriented operators to run the equipment.Your Responsibilities:Operate a highly sensitive machine that produces laminated flexible packaging for consumer goodsPrepare and operate printing equipment in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and proceduresContinually monitor equipment for accuracy and quality, and make adjustments as neededPerform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum outputCheck supplies for proper color, size, type and quantityCoordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updatesMaintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipmentYour Shift:1st Shift: 6:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Thursday OR2nd Shift: 4:00pm - 2:00am, Monday - Thursday4x10 scheduleYou Must Have:High degree of mechanical ability and attention to detailAbility to perform continuous adjustments to machinery to ensure exceptional print qualityAbility to read units of measurement in standard and metric, in order to set machine up properlyHigh degree of mathematical skillsAbility to learn and use computer programs to properly set the equipment up for each jobGood reading abilityRequirements Within This Position:Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)We Would Also Prefer:2+ years experience working on pouching or flexible packaging equipmentHigh School Diploma/GEDAbility to effectively communicate with team membersHigh degree of analytical skillsGood color discernmentAbout Taylor CorporationOne of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
