Physicians to Children is seeking an Appointment Scheduler to join our fast-paced pediatric office EVERY Saturday and Sunday approx. 8:00am - 12:00 noon Responsibilities: Schedules, coordinates, and reschedules patient appointments. Verifies demographic information and insurance eligibility; updates patient charts accordingly. Provides financial expectations to patients at time of scheduling. Creates newborn charts using data from physician and birth hospital. Requests discharge notes from hospital for follow-up visits. Assists with sales of lactation supplies. Completes follow-up processes according to the No Show Policy Processes and documents patient dismissals. Skills: Excellent communication skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient with computer systems (Ex.
