This is a full-time position with an expectation of teaching primarily Core Curriculum, non-major biology courses. Teaching load is up to three courses with laboratories per semester, with the possibility of some advising duties. The successful candidate will serve under a one-to-three-year, renewable contract, depending on experience. Full-time faculty at VMI wear uniforms and adhere to military customs and courtesies during the academic year, but military experience is not required. VMI is a small, highly rated undergraduate institution with a strong emphasis on teaching and undergraduate research. All courses will be taught in person. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree or equivalent in the biological sciences and teaching experience at the college level.
