Job Description We are seeking a highly professional and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a dog grooming Salon Receptionist/Bather. As a Salon Receptionist/Bather, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring smooth operations at the salon, and assisting with bathing and grooming tasks. To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized and able to manage clients with grace, dogs with patience and care. Ultimately, you will help boost our reputation by building friendly, trusting relationships with customers and dogs. Responsibilities Greet and welcome clients upon their arrival at the salon Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for clients based on availability Welcome walk-ins and answer questions about services Maintain a clean and organized salon space, including tidying up after baths and ensuring that all supplies are well-stocked Assist with bathing and grooming tasks for pets, including bathing, drying, brushing, and nail trimming Provide exceptional customer service by going above and beyond to meet the needs of our clients Cross-sell services and products when appropriate Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately Assist the salon manager with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management Qualifications Must love dogs High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience working in a salon or a similar customer service role is highly preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Knowledge of basic dog bathing techniques based on grooming standards is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Proficiency in using computer software and data entry skills If you are passionate about dogs and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced salon environment, we would love to hear from you.
