Additional operations and/or leadership experience strongly preferred 2.Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience 3.ServSafe® Certification required 4.Great communication skills 5.Proven ability to solve problems 6.Strong business acumen to understand financial statements and contributing factors 7.Ability to work day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as the schedules are rotated 8.Reliable transportation Summary of Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 1.Ensure that each guest has an exceptional experience dining with us. 2.Deals and reports guest’s comments and complaints in a professional and timely manner 3.Restaurant Human Resource Responsibilities: You’ll be in charge of Hiring, Training, Scheduling, Coaching, Counseling and Disciplining Employees; Communicating Expectations, Reviewing Compensation Actions and Enforcing Policies and Procedures. 4.Restaurant Operations Responsibilities: You’ll work with the owner to support a wide range of operational objectives, including Contribute to Strategic Plans; Upholding Customer Service Standards, Preparing Action Plans; Determining System Improvements; Completing Audits etc. 5.Control costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation; minimizing waste; ensuring high quality of preparation. 6.Uphold the regulations of the alcoholic beverage commission and maintain bar profitability by ensuring portion control and monitoring accuracy of charges. 7.Restaurant Safety & Security: You’ll be responsible for establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; developing and implementing disaster plans; maintaining security and sprinkler systems; maintaining parking lot and walkways. 8.Maintain restaurant ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service. 9.Make an advertising plan 10.Management facebook,Yelp,Google etc. Expectations: •‘the buck stops here’- Must be able to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise •Ability to successfully perform and be a role model of effectiveness in the job duties of all positions in the restaurant, Kitchen, Cook line, and customer service down to cleaning restrooms.
