Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent Completion of some college level or education courses strongly preferred Experience working with children Current CPR & First Aid certification (or ability to obtain if hired – training provided) Experience: Demonstrated success of experience working with children, families, planning, organizing, and promoting programs. Rate: Based on education and experience Child management responsibilities include the following : Ability to keep a group of children safe in a variety of program spaces Maintenance of attendance and counts for a group of children Active engagement with children in all activities during program hours A patient, warm, understanding and receptive attitude towards all children Ability to implement behavior modification in cooperation with program policies Ability to initiate and lead a group of children in a project, gym game, through challenging social situations, etc. Lead responsibilities include the following: Setting up and putting away games, equipment, and supplies according to the schedule or as directed by the Kids Club Coordinator Implementation of program policies and procedures Keeping program and storage areas clean and orderly Regular sanitizing of toys and equipment Other duties as assigned by the Kids Club Coordinator For questions, please contact Nathan Warden, (507) 665-4626, nwarden@isd2397.org.
