The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in grant writing, excellent written communication skills, and a passion for our mission. Duties: - Research and identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities - Collaborate with program managers to develop project proposals that align with the organization's goals and objectives - Write clear, concise, and compelling grant proposals that effectively communicate the organization's mission, programs, and impact - Gather necessary data and information from various sources to support grant applications - Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and deadlines - Maintain accurate records of all grants, including reporting requirements and deadlines - Collaborate with finance department to develop budgets for grant proposals - Monitor and track progress of funded projects and provide regular updates to stakeholders Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Communications, Nonprofit Management) - Proven experience in grant writing, preferably in a nonprofit setting - Strong research skills to identify potential funding sources - Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive proposals - Knowledge of contract management and strategic planning - Familiarity with fundraising principles and practices - Proficiency in technical writing and ability to translate complex concepts into accessible language - Experience using Donor Perfect or other donor management software is preferred - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills If you are passionate about making a difference through grant writing, we encourage you to apply.
