Full job description
What You'll Get to Do as an Agile Coach:
Our Agile Coach will work collaborative with the Project Managers, stakeholders and the Product Teams to ensure that the release management processes are clearly documented and understood – in terms of (1) when a release should occur/types of releases, (2) what elements should be included in a release, (3) which reviews are required for release approval, (4) which end users should receive the release to optimize business value delivery to customers, (5) any coordination necessary for communication about a release (e.g. when a bug is fixed by a release, should a specific user community be notified)Develops technical solutions to complex problems.
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments as they lead the software development to production effort by conveying the vision to multiple scrum delivery teams, outlining and prioritizing work based on customer requirements and business value.
• Ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget.
• Responsible for the business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline.
• Serves as the scrum delivery teams’ primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making.
• Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
• Ensure that team members understand project objectives.
• Maintain product backlog and release plan and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals.
• Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
• Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree and at least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with scrum project management, agile software development, and software version control management
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
