Prevents theft through constant awareness of customer activity and urgently engaging with customers to validate receipts and recover unpaid merchandise. Keeps our team members and customers safe by identifying and resolving safety concerns..What You'll be Doing:Actively identify and quickly resolve unsafe conditions and situationsPrevent theft through an active presence and engagement with customers entering and exitingRespond to alerts urgently to check receipts, recover unpaid merchandise, and resolve alarmsReduce store disruption following the company de-escalation and negotiation techniquesDocument and communicate theft, safety, and alarm activity incidentsWhat You Bring with You (Qualifications):High school graduate or equivalent.1-2 years of customer service experience or asset protection experienceClear and professional written and oral communication skillsAbility to actively move throughout work area for long periods of timeAbility to respond to alerts quickly and urgentlyAbility to learn and interact with new and existing technology solutionsAbility to use technology to document and communicate incidentsAbility to learn and apply negotiation and de-escalation techniquesAbility to maintain knowledge of product locations to direct customersAbility to work successfully with conflict Physical requirement:Limited sittingFrequent standing, walking, crouching, bending, pushing, or pullingLimited travel or overnightNormal or corrected vision and hearingUnderstand, speak, read, and write fluent EnglishLift 0-25 lbs. regularlyUse of fine motor hand functionsOccasional high levels of physical exertionAble to quickly exit from an escalating situationOccasionally outdoorsOccasionally exposed to varying degrees of hot and cold environmentsOccasional exposure to high stress situations
