Role:
Responsible for implementation, maintenance, security, and administration of IT infrastructure; extend IT support services to staff and members.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
30% Install, secure, monitor, and maintain all hardware and software, ensuring maximum reliability, security, and efficiency while satisfying best practices, regulations and Credit Union Policy.
20% Perform day-to-day administration of the credit union's infrastructure, including creating reports used for management briefings and audit documentation.
15% Responsible for configuring, monitoring, and testing all backups.
15% Provides level 2 support for all other technology or I.T. issues, i.e. audio response system, phone system, imaging, fax technology, data format conversion, etc.
10% Consults with I.T. management, and various I.T. personnel to assure that I.T. standards for control, security, and recoverability are understood and followed; coordinates with other I.T. Technical Support staff to assure that appropriate I.T. computing standards are implemented and maintained; manages software upgrades to assure compliance with standards and control procedures.
10% Performs other duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
1. Must comply with government and other regulations affecting the Credit Union industry including, but not limited to, OFAC and the Bank Secrecy Act.
2. Meets or exceeds performance expectations as described in Essential Functions and Responsibilities.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.
Education (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
Other Skills 1. Experience in PC usage and hardware/software support.
2. Knowledge of implementing and maintaining network security.
3. Windows Client and Windows server experience.
4. Batch and workflow programming desirable.
5. Ability to diagnose problems over a WAN in remote locations.
6. Must be able to install, troubleshoot, and support personal computers, network and data communications software and hardware and be familiar with basic programming logic, processing concepts and terminology.
Skill and ability to use and operate a keyboard (typewriter), computer, calculator, fax machine, copier and telephone. Skill and ability to read and understand financial statements, contracts, applications, computer printouts, manuals and other related materials.
Must be able to create, deliver and report findings in presentation format.
