Founded in 1966, Friendship offers diverse senior living accommodations, award-winning care, new and innovative services, as well as specialized rehab and therapy, to over 1,500 residents and patients each day. With four campuses, the earliest dating back to 1919, Friendship has grown to offer the full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, home care, outpatient therapy, inpatient rehab, long-term care and Alzheimer’s and memory care. Friendship is looking for a Full Time Human Resources Recruiter to join our Friendship team. The Human Resources Recruiter will report directly to the Director of Human Resources, and will work with the human resources team in the areas of recruitment, onboarding and retention. The HR Recruiter will efficiently and effectively fill open positions. They will be responsible for recruiting through external and internal job fairs, networking at schools, social media and any other recruiting sources.
Qualifications:
• Must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal employment laws
• Must possess the ability to establish and maintain positive, effective relationships with leaders and employees at all levels of the organization
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
• Minimum of 2 year’s Human Resources experience preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Post jobs on Friendship’s career site and other sites as needed.
• Conduct in person or phone screen interviews as requested by hiring manager.
• Make job offers to selected applicants.
• Complete required new hire paperwork for all new hires
• Schedule onboarding and send onboarding to new hires and provide on-site assistance as necessary
• Research and identify recruiting opportunities
• Represent Friendship at job fairs, area college and high school events
• Manage the internal job application process according to policy.
• Track referral and sign on bonus programs.
• Coordinate and manage volunteer and internship programs
