Full job description
EvolutionHR is currently looking for a Patient Care Representative to support a client in Roanoke, VA. The Patient Care Representative will be responsible for greeting patients/visitors, processing all documents and forms, and coordinating additional appointments as necessary.
Responsibilities of the Patient Care Representative:
• Answering office telephone and coordinating calls
• Scheduling appts and keeping dentist and hygienists’ schedules filled at all times
• Ensure all patient information is updated and accurate in dental software
• Verify financial and insurance information in the software
• Submit pre-authorizations and claims for insurances
• Review office policies with patients
• Check out every patient as they leave, collect fees due, verify chart, process insurance paperwork, schedule treatment to be completed, confirm recall appointment.
• Coordinating referrals to specialists and other dental offices
• Confirm lab cases received, and appts scheduled for delivery of lab-made prosthetics
Qualifications of the Patient Care Representative:
• 1 year of experience within an Administration Role
• Excellent attention to detail, communication and customer service skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a drug screen
Compensation of the Patient Care Representative:
• Hourly pay is commensurate based on experience
• Medical, Dental, and other benefits offered
