Medical Facilities of America is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Regional Director of H uman Resources. This position will initially support our Southern region (North Carolina) with the potential to support additional geographic areas in the future.
As the Regional Director of Human Resources, you will partner with Healthcare Center Administrators and Directors of Human Resources providing counsel and guidance on the full employment life cycle including, but not limited to talent acquisition and recruiting, retention and employee relations, policy and procedure implementation and interpretation, employee-related concerns, and other human resources functions.
As a Regional Director of Human Resources, you will be at the forefront of helping us grow and support our centers in building the best teams possible to enable us to achieve our mission of providing Care Beyond Compare.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team-player with ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships at all levels in the organization.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize conflicting demands and work autonomously.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Experience working with HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, and other HR related systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related regulations and laws and HR best practices.
• Ability to provide effective guidance and leadership to diverse groups of individuals.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide guidance on execution of the organization’s human resources and talent strategies.
• Collaborate with leadership team at the healthcare centers and the Vice President of Operations on the region’s recruiting strategy and staffing needs.
• Review and audit facility human resource operations to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
• Provide counsel and guidance on all general human resources programs including, but not limited to, the following: recruiting, performance management, training, employment law compliance, coaching and counseling, compensation and benefits administration, timekeeping and payroll, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee relations, and retention.
• Support learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
• Provide guidance and oversight to Human Resources Directors on employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner, including reasonable accommodations, employee disciplinary meetings, employment terminations, and internal investigations.
• Provide guidance on company policy implementation and interpretation.
• Perform site visits to healthcare centers as necessary.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Human Resources team on company-wide projects and programs.
