Both parents work in the medical field and early mornings are required for this position. With that, attendance and timeliness MUST be a highlight of your reputation when it comes to your work. The family is seeking someone who will providing a loving, positive, and scheduled environment for their daughter to learn and grow. Equally as important is loving their dog - a happy golden retriever! The family would like their daughter to be outside on daily walks every day and even jump in puddles out in the rain! Character qualities required for this position: patience, energetic, love the outdoors, trustworthy, self-motivated, great work ethic, safety conscious, reliable, and someone who is very easy to communicate with and strives to create long-term positive relationships with the family. This position requires someone who is flexible in the four days per week schedule. The parents have their schedules many weeks in advance so the nanny can plan accordingly. The family values education and thrives on a solid schedule throughout the day. They are not a family that will have screen time with their child as she grows - rather a true focus on experiences and play each day. They value travel and a cultured approach to parenting. Details: Start Date: April 2024 - flexible Hourly wage: $20+ per hour. Guaranteed Hours Schedule: 4 days per week - one weekday off per week - the schedule will be provided a month in advance at minimum. Flexibility is required. Hours: Day can start as early as 5:30a/6a and conclude 2-6p daily depending on their OR schedule. Guaranteed 35 hours per week. Benefits: no holidays, no weekends, 6+ weeks of paid vacation per year. 4 PTO days of choice. MUST be up to date on vaccines, including flu. Covid not required.
