Virginia Wildife Solutions is a family owned wildlife control company specializing in the humane and effective removal and prevention of nuisance wildlife. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Wildlife Control Technician to join our team. As a Wildlife Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting customer premises, identifying wildlife problems, and implementing effective solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities: - Conduct inspections of residential and commercial properties. - Trap and remove nuisance wildlife. - Repair damage to homes caused by wildlife -Install wildlife exclusion and prevention measures. - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer questions and concerns - Maintain accurate records of services provided and recommendations made Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in wildlife control or a related field is preferred but not required. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment. Must be able to lift a minimum of 80lbs above your head (ladders, equipment, etc). - Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions. - General knowledge of tools, basic exterior and interior home repairs, and comfortable working on roofs and ladders is required. - Must be comfortable working in small spaces such as attics, crawl spaces, and under decks Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week Schedule: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Supplemental pay types: Bonus opportunities Work Location: In person
