Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or hospice care needs - Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating - Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately - Monitor and record vital signs of residents - Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times - Follow individual care plans and provide personalized care based on residents' needs - Promote resident rights and maintain confidentiality of resident information - Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for residents Experience: - Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or hospice care is preferred - Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols - Familiarity with resident rights and regulations in a healthcare setting - Ability to perform basic first aid procedures when necessary - Proficiency in taking vital signs accurately - Experience in lifting and transferring individuals safely Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
