WE are looking for an Optometrist one day per week. The day of the week could be the same or variable. (If you're available, more fill-time could be scheduled when our doctors use vacation days.) ```Duties``` - Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests for patients AGE 7 UP - Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, diseases, and disorders - Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, such as glasses or contact lenses, as needed -```Qualifications``` - Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school - Valid state license to practice optometry; Valid & current Medical Malpractice Insurance. - Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, and diseases - Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools for eye examinations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages - Ability to provide compassionate care to patients - Some Familiarity with electronic health record systems for efficient documentation and record keeping. If needed initially, Paper Records could be uploaded to EHR if needed.
