Mountain Comprehensive Care Center is hiring for a START Grant Coordinator to serve the Owensboro Clinic. PURPOSE: Provide services to START families referred by DCBS which include, but are not limited to, quick access to services that address parental substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health disorders and child safety in collaboration with DCBS PREFERRED QUALIFICIATIONS: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Will consider LPCA, CSW or Bachelor level with degree in Human Services field and experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in a behavioral science, human sercies, or a related field. Must have a valid Kentucky motor vehicle operator’s license and a CSW or LPCA license for Kentucky. Bachelor level considered with experience. SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to evaluate needs of clients. Knowledge of overall objectives and treatment concepts. Knowledge of rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the care and treatment mental/behavior disorders and/or intellectually disabled. Good verbal and written skills; patience and flexibility. Ability to maintain accurate records and reports. Ability to communicate with others in a professional manner. An eclectic knowledge base.
