Mortgage Loan Operations Specialist Job Code MRTGOPCL Job Family Supervisory No Job Summary The Mortgage Loan Operations Specialist will work directly with Lenders to accurately complete all preliminary disclosures and lock rates. This position will sell and deliver closed loans to Freddie Mac and package all closed loans to be sent to the Loan Operations Department. Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Monitors group email for incoming new loans and preliminary disclosure requests Reviews and ensures information entered into origination system is complete and verifies all fees are accurately disclosed on the loan estimate Prices and locks rates for secondary market loans for mortgage loan originators Prepares all preliminary disclosures based on product requested for new loans and emails to mortgage lenders Sells and delivers closed loans to Freddie Mac before rate lock expiration date Ensures all required documentation is included in final loan for booking Education, Experience and Qualifications Education Required/Preferred Education Level Description Required High School or GED Years of Experience Minimum Comments 1 A minimum of one (1) year of experience with loans and loan documents required License / Certification Required/Preferred License / Certification Description Additional Qualifications Computer competency required Secondary market experience preferred Core Competencies Organizational skills Oral and written communication skills Customer service skills Analytical and problem-solving skills Detail oriented Ability to multi-task Clerical and administrative skills Ability to work as a part of a team Working Conditions Working Conditions Indoors, environmentally controlled.
