Our counselors are case managers that help people with disabilities find meaningful employment. We help people try out different jobs, work with students doing job shadowing and career exploration. We help people with disabilities develop soft skills, prepare for work and get that job! Once employed, we act as job coaches to help train and support our clients to learn and ultimately keep their jobs and increase their independence. We are advocates for the vulnerable and underserved. We provide many services to support our client's goals of independence: Case management Supported employment and job coaching Work readiness and career exploration Advocacy for people with disabilities Assessment and evaluation Workforce and Job Development Independent living skills Marketing and networking Behavioral Intervention Transition Services Benefits counseling and financial health literacy Clinical and vocational counseling This position will primarily serve adults and students with disabilities in the community. Our programs provide support for individuals with varying abilities in finding and maintaining successful, integrated employment in the community. Compensation is excellent and based on experience, education, and additional applicable skills. Candidates with teaching experience and education backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply! Requirements: This position requires a dedicated person to be a self-starter with great time management skills. This is a community-based position, so the ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, a good driving record, and documentation of adequate auto insurance. Prefers at least a master's degree in a related field plus 1 year of related experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 2 years of related experience, an associate degree (or equivalent credits) in a related field plus 4 years of experience, or a high school diploma and 10 years of related experience.
