We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Optometrist to join our practice and contribute to our mission of making lives better through personalized eye care and eyewear services. Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and patient-focused optometrist to provide exceptional eye care services to our patients at Carlson-Tillisch Eye Clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing full scope optometric care, including comprehensive eye exams, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and patient education on maintaining optimal eye health. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing practice. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform comprehensive eye exams. 2. Diagnose, treat and manage a wide range of eye conditions and diseases, including, but not limited to, refractive errors, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and dry eye syndrome. 3. Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, topical and oral medications to treat eye conditions. 4. Educate and counsel patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventative measures. 5. Collaborate with ophthalmologists, technicians, and support staff to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care. 6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in EHR system. 7. Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry, technology, and industry trends through continuing education. Qualifications: 1. Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from an accredited school of optometry. 2. Current and valid Minnesota optometry license. 3. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. 4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 5. Proficiency in the use of modern optometric equipment and EHR systems. 6. Dedication to providing high-quality patient care. 7. Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
