Job Description:
We are currently seeking a lead Junk Removal Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for removing various types of junk, including furniture, appliances, construction debris, yard waste, and more. As a Junk Removal Specialist, you will work closely with our clients to understand their needs, provide estimates, and efficiently remove and dispose of junk in an eco-friendly manner.
Responsibilities:
- Perform junk removal tasks efficiently and safely, following company guidelines and client requirements
- Lift and carry heavy items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage to the property or injury
- Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring exceptional customer service
- Assess and provide accurate estimates for junk removal services
- Load and unload junk from trucks, utilizing proper equipment and tools
- Sort and dispose of junk responsibly, adhering to local regulations and recycling guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of jobs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a lead junk removal, moving, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks repeatedly
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
- Familiarity with local waste disposal regulations and recycling practices
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, based on client demand
