If you are interested in providing gender-specific treatment services for pregnant and parenting women and their children, Project LINK is for you!
The goal at Project LINK is to engage women in needed services and improve outcomes for newborns and families. Project Link has targeted treatment opportunities specifically for women using substances. They offer trauma informed treatment groups, case management, connections to other treatment providers, and specific programming to cut down on barrier to treatment.
Clinicians in Project LINK are responsible for engaging women in individualized services, treatment groups, education, assessment and discharge planning services. Clinicians assess safety of parent and child and intervene when clients are in crisis. The mothers may have emotional and/or substance abuse issues and have difficulty accessing needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational, vocational, and other supports essential for living in the community and meeting their basic needs.
Entry Level Pay: $19.81/hour. Additional compensation commensurate with experience.
Minimum Requirements :
• Education: Bachelor's degree in an acceptable human services field .
• Experience: One year preferred experience working with individuals with substance abuse disorder or with co-occurring diagnoses of substance use disorder and mental illness; or a Board of Counseling Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) or CSAC-Assistant under supervision.
• Licensure/Certifications: A credentialed addition treatment professional (CAPT) preferred; Substance Abuse Case Management (SACM): must meet requirements for qualification. Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Behavioral Intervention will be required, training is provided upon hire.
• Safe Driving Record: Candidates must have an unrestricted driver's license and a good driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal violations in the last five years).
