Full job description
Job Title: Behavior Technician
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency and progress
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow directions and implement behavior plans accurately
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
Note: Central Reach Training will be provided for candidates who do not have previous experience in the field.
