SUMMARY:  
The MotoSport Roanoke Dealership Customer Service Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and dealership efficiency. This role involves proactive communication with customers, follow-up on leads, assisting with social media, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for powersports. 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Thank You Follow-Up Calls: Make 2–3 day follow-up calls to customers to ensure satisfaction, confirm appointments, and address any concerns 
Lead Follow-Up: Follow up on leads to set appointments after 7-10 days of initial contact, addressing any questions or concerns and setting appointments for sales opportunities 
Post-Sale and Service Follow-Up: Call customers after a sale or service appointment to ensure satisfaction, inform them about incoming surveys, and stress the importance of a perfect survey 
Social Media Assistance: Help with creating and posting content on Facebook and Instagram to promote dealership events and products 
Inventory Management: Assist with entering inventory and perform audits to verify accuracy in Lightspeed, website, and cycle trader 
Sales Support: Maintain a sales license and complete manufacturer training to back up sales staff when needed. 
Back-Up Finance & Insurance Department: Cover finance and insurance duties when needed, including processing DMV and warranty registrations 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
High school diploma or equivalent 
Previous customer service experience, preferably in a dealership setting 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment 
Knowledge of powersports vehicles and equipment preferred 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS, VISUAL ACUITY & WORKING ENVIRONMENT: 
The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud 
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
May be required to push and/or balance a 600 lb.+ recreational vehicle 
Ability to use keyboard and computer for extended length of time 
The ability to spend majority of day on your feet 
Working Conditions: The Customer Service Specialist may potentially be exposed to: 
Battery acid 
Gasoline 
Chemical cleaning materials, or 
Other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle place of business
