Full job description
Cincinnati Health Network (CHN), a Federally Qualified Health Center in Cincinnati, Ohio is actively seeking an experience Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team. At CHN we are passionate about our mission to provide a kind and caring workforce, serving persons who are experiencing homelessness. Job Responsibilities:
• Reviews patient record, including history, allergies, problems, medications, and immunization status
• Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition
• Diagnose condition of patient and defines a plan of care
• Prescribes treatments, medications, and immunization
Qualifications
• One year post graduate APRN experience
• Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Ohio RN license
• Board Certified in State of Ohio for APRN license
• Proven experience and ability to work independently
• Electronic medical records experience a plus, but not required
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to be self-directed
• Experience with a Federally Qualified Health Center preferred
• Cultural sensitivity and interest in working with people experiencing homelessness as well as persons with HIV
• Commitment to the mission of the Cincinnati Health Network
