Responsibilities include:
• Perform ultrasound examinations primarily focused on obstetric studies, including BPE, pelvics, small anatomy, and complications.
• Work in an ambulatory setting primarily in Clifton, with occasional floating to Anderson, Mason, and Western Hills.
• Utilize Epic and Merge PACS software systems for imaging.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental team members and ensure patient comfort and care during procedures.
• Adhere to infection prevention procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Stay updated with job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed:
• Associates degree in allied health or graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS through ARDMS) or Sonography credential through ARRT.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS).
• Strong computer skills, with experience in Epic and/or Merge PACS preferred.
• New grads are welcome but will undergo 6 weeks of training to ensure proficiency.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a self-managing team environment.
• Competencies in OB/GYN, prostate, body, abdominal, and head/neck ultrasound examinations.
• Commitment to maintaining quality ultrasound exams and adhering to guidelines and protocols.
