Full job description
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other living areas
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly
- Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of carpets and upholstery through regular vacuuming and spot cleaning
- Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or special requests
Skills:
- Experience in floor care, including knowledge of different types of flooring and appropriate cleaning methods
- Familiarity with custodial practices and techniques for maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Ability to sanitize surfaces effectively to ensure a safe and hygienic living space
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques to remove stains and maintain the appearance of carpets
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or similar roles is a plus
- Ability to clean various areas of a house, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Basic knowledge of laundering clothes and linens as needed
- Basic cooking skills may be required for certain positions
