OvertureXL is looking for Travel LPN/LVNs .
Calling all Travel LPNs! We are looking for several Travel LPNs to work for our medical client in Florence, Kentucky. If you live at least 50 miles away from Florence, Kentucky, then you qualify for a travel position. Work and earn top dollars by helping our seniors with your high-quality patient care!

We are currently looking for individuals to join the OvertureXL team by creating your profile in our system so that our Kentucky area employers can review your qualifications and their needs. We currently have a multi-facility, fast-growing client seeking assistance with travel coverage. This is a perfect opportunity for healthcare professionals that want to expand their professional network with an easy onboarding process or for professionals returning to healthcare that want total control over their work/life balance.
Compensation Package:
• Pay Rate: $36 - $37 per hour
• Stipend pay up to $1200/weekly (non-taxed)
• Weekly pay (Thursday)
• Total weekly pay + stipend $1480
• Direct Deposit

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Recognizes and reports symptoms that indicate changes in the condition of the patient to the Nursing Supervisor, Charge RN, and/or physician as appropriate.
• Provides nursing care and services that is in accordance with patient care and general medical policies.
• Assists the physician and/or Registered Nurse in the performance of specific procedures required by the patient and at an appropriate level for the LPN / LVN.
• Observes, records, and reports to the appropriate professional the symptoms, reactions, and changes.
• Performs selected nursing procedures, including administration of medications and treatments prescribed by the physician; and b. Preparation and care of patients receiving specialized treatments administered by the physician or the professional nurse.
• Assists with patients according to the medical care plan.
• Promotes cooperative effort among personnel by understanding the functions of other persons involved in patient care and by active participation in team and staff conferences when appropriate.
• Administers medications, IV's (when allowed by state regulation) and treatments, observing aseptic techniques adequately.
• Will work with Covid cases and assist as needed on the unit.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 1+ year of experience in Long Term Care/Nursing Home setting
• Licensed Practical Nursing degree from an accredited institution
• Active LPN License
• PCC – Point of Contact Care training
• Current CPR Certification OR BLS Certification
• Travel Duration Contracts = 7-13 weeks
• Day and Night Shifts, 36-40 hours per week (8-hour shift or 12-hour shift)
• Annual Physical
• TB test (within 1 year of hire)
• COVID Vaccination Card
• MMR Vaccine
• Varicella Vaccine
• Dementia training preferred
