Work from Home Virtual School Psychologist Job in Roanoke, VA
VocoVision is partnering with a school district in the Roanoke, VAarea in search of a full or part time remote School Psychologist for the 2024 semester. This position will treat you as an independent contractor, meaning you'll be able to schedule your own work hours while providing online services for students in need. All contracts with VocoVision are 1099 with the goal of providing better flexibility. If you're looking to lighten your commute, focus on family, or for any

Position Details
• 1099 independent contracting structure
• K-12grade caseload with mild-moderate symptoms
• Full (or part time) weekly hours (see below for more details)
• We work with a Zoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA compliant)
• You will be able to bill for both direct time with students in addition to time spent
Start and End Dates: ASAP to 06/2024
School Hours: 8:00 to 3:30 PM local time
• Full timehours: 37.5 estimatedhours in total, including time for planning and IEP management.
• Part time hours: 15-30 estimated hours, depending on your personal availability; this will cover time spent for indirect services as well.
• You can complete any indirect hours at your own time.
Requirements
• Master's Degree in School or Educational Psychology.
• Virginia educational certificate for School Psychology.
• Two years of experience in a school setting with previous remote experience (preferred).
• Professional liability insurance coverage to work with students.
• Home computer with camera and microphone functions with strong internet connection.
Requirements
• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate cognitive and behavioral needs.
• Provide remote counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
• Manage and develop Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) for each student.
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings with family and faculty members.
