Job Summary
Maintenance Technician performs complex maintenance on all mechanical equipment, utilities, and systems in plant operations.
Job Responsibilities
• Develops, schedules, and performs preventative maintenance plans for each machine, system, or mobile machinery
• Installs or repairs all production machinery and systems or secures appropriate resources to ensure safe and effective operations
• Documents all preventative maintenance and repair activities
• Assesses and performs building maintenance on structure, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Maintains lean inventory of spare parts and repair supplies
• Willingness to assist in other areas as needed
• Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications (Required)
• At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)
• High School diploma or GED (required at all locations)
• Proficient in shop math, circuit and schematic diagram reading, single and three phase electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC controllers, complex machine repair
• Use of MS tools, diagnostic devices, machine repair tools
• Previous machine maintenance experience
Job Qualifications (Preferred)
• Associates degree in mechanics, machine maintenance, hydraulics, and/or electrical
• Forklift license, Technical certifications
• Metal Manufacturing
Physical Requirements Of The Job
• Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day
• Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment
• Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
• Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
• Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)
• Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials
• Reliable to come to work every day and be on-time
• Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends

Some overtime may be required during the week and weekend.
