Graham-White, a Wabtec Company, is a leading innovator for various products used in the freight and transit rail business segments, as well as the transit bus markets. Products such as air drying and filtration equipment, pneumatic valves, locomotive parking brakes, sanding equipment, and gauges.
Shift: Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per shift.
First shift with occasional overtime required.
Duties and Responsibilities – may include but is not limited to the following;
• Responsible for the production of molds and/or cores used in the casting process.
• Sets up all molding machines and machines used in the core production process.
• Cleans, dips, and assembles cores as needed.
• Follows department schedules to ensure timely flow of products to other areas within the Foundry.
• Performs limited preventative maintenance on core/molding machines. -
• Keeps work area clean.
• Follows all company and departmental safety procedures.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED (Preferred)
• Demonstrated application of team and communication skills, ability to learn company and departmental safety procedures, and have the ability to thoroughly understand applicable ISO procedures and work instructions.
Work Environment:
• Work is normally performed in a production floor environment, with regular exposure to loud noises, heat/humidity and dust or vapors with occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
