The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community and secure setting that provides comprehensive services to 740 civilly committed clients. Services include sex offense specific treatment, education programming, therapeutic recreation, vocational programming, and volunteer services.
MSOP St. Peter is a residential treatment facility for clients who have been court-ordered to receive ongoing treatment in a secure setting. As clients progress in treatment, they may petition to transition to MSOP Community Preparation Services (CPS). Clients must petition the Special Review Board and Commitment Appeal Panel to be granted a transfer to CPS from inside the secure perimeter at MSOP St. Peter or Moose Lake campus. CPS is a less restrictive, unlocked residential setting on the grounds of the MSOP St. Peter campus located outside of the secure perimeter.

CPS is designed to provide clients with opportunities to continue working on treatment, as well as offer new opportunities for deinstitutionalization and reintegration into the community.
The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) in St. Peter is seeking a Reintegration Clinician to join our team! As the Reintegration Clinician you will provide services to civilly committed sexual offenders and their families. Identify, plan, and monitor the reintegration needs of clients at Community Preparation Services (CPS) from the time of arrival at CPS through placement on provisional discharge to ensure each client has an individualized, comprehensive, and responsive plan for successful reintegration.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop and facilitate reintegration focused programming for CPS and other MSOP clients
• Develop treatment goals, track progress, and update goals to address client’s reintegration needs
• Conduct assessments of clients to determine possible reintegration needs
• Serve as a reintegration liaison with internal MSOP departments and external stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
• Possess a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or closely related field; AND
• Current licensure by the State of Minnesota as an independent behavioral health professional (i.e. Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); AND
• Have three (3) years of professional experience providing clinical services, including group and individual therapy.
