Eaton’s EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking a Receiving - 1st Shift.   The core hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
The hourly rate for this position is $20.08 per hour.

What you’ll do:
POSITION SUMMARY
Receivers are responsible for handling and sorting incoming shipments. Receivers will track packages through use of RF (Radio Frequency) units. Must maintain a safe work environment, and meet quality standards for packaging and moving products.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Able to operate Material Handling Equipment or willingness to learn
•    Audit inbound freight for accurate count, damages, and examine products to ensure damaged products are not used in assembly
•    Maintain discrepancy logs of each vendor and create scorecards for each
•    Work with inbound vendors to correct all discrepancies.
•    Maintain and distribute reports
•    Use RF (radio frequency) units to scan barcodes
•    Relocate incoming shipment to identified location
•    Follow safety procedures for equipment used to reduce potential for accidents
•    Use box cutters to cut packaging materials
•    Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning
•    Ability to lift products to proper staging location
•    Communicate with supervisors to resolve conflicts
•    Understand quota requirements to accomplish required production levels
•    Communicate with coworkers to share expertise
•    Maintain 5S standards to support safety and cleanliness
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•    High school diploma or equivalent
•    Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
•    Remain standing for an extended period of time up to 10 hours
•    Able to perform with constant movement of the arms
PERFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge :
•    English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
•    Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc…
•    Experience using SAP
•    Production and Processing - Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

•    Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.

•    Gross Body Coordination - The ability to coordinate the movement of your arms, legs, and torso together when the whole body is in motion.
