Full job description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Eco-Friendly Housekeeper/Office Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in both residential and office settings using all-natural cleaning products. We are committed to sustainability and minimizing environmental impact, hence the preference for eco-friendly cleaning methods and products.
Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces using only all-natural cleaning products.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces following established cleaning procedures.
Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes and linens.
Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods to clean hard-to-reach areas and floors effectively.
Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate supervisor.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and coworkers.
Complete tasks within the specified timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.
Uphold confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients and their property at all times.
Pass a background check and drug test as part of the hiring process.
Provide reliable work history and references upon request.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in housekeeping, office cleaning, or related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions closely.
Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning products and methods is an asset.
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and get down on the floor to clean.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
Reliable transportation to and from work locations.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning techniques.
Flexibility to work daytime, evening, and weekend shifts as needed.
