Full job description
Dishwashers are responsible for:
As a respected and crucial member of the kitchen team, this position will work in tandem with the entire staff. Station is equipped with spray station, full dish washing machine, glass washing machine and 3 compartment sink and drying racks. This position ensures restaurant maintains appropriate amount of clean dishware/silverware for successful service.
• Setting up dish room to ZZ&S specifications
• Cleans all incoming dishes effectively and efficiently.
• Places clean dishes in appropriate location ensuring that they are properly dried and clean.
• Assists with organizing and stocking daily deliveries.
• Assists with general food preparation, as needed and requested to do so.
• Responsible for cleaning their station properly and assists with cleaning kitchen during closing shifts.
• Complies with all Department of Health regulations; maintains clean and orderly work station.
• Works With the rest of the restaurant team to take out trash, recycling and compost as needed.
Compensation Details:
Hourly pay - $14/hr ($15/hr once training/performance goals met after 90 days)
