Responsibilities include:
• Assist physicians in examination and treatment procedures.
• Perform delegated duties under physician direction.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information in patients' charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Cross-train to enhance efficiency and continuity of patient care.
• Collaborate within a flexible, motivated, and patient-focused team.
What you need to succeed:
• Either Medical Assisting education OR relevant experience.
• Proficient in injections, EKGs, venipuncture, and blood draws.
• Team player mentality, dedicated to optimizing patient service.
• Education: High School Degree; BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers).
• Experience: Healthcare Education (Medical Assisting) OR Medical Assisting experience.
• Specialized Knowledge: EKG, injections, venipuncture, performance of common lab tests following CLIA guidelines
