VISITING ANGELS is one of the largest Home Care franchise systems in the United States. Currently, we are looking for this position to support our Charlottesville office, which is locally owned and managed.
Job Overview:
This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Agency’s image through pleasant and helpful telephone manners, and courteous interaction with all staff and potential clients, caregivers, potential caregivers and is responsible for appropriate verbal and behavioral interaction with all individuals that he/she comes in contact with on behalf of the agency.  A person who presents a kind demeanor and cares about providing a high level of service to elderly clients with varying degrees of understanding of what they need in the way of service levels.  The individual must understand the health concerns of elderly clients. The individual must be able to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision and must possess a high degree of initiative, high energy, great interpersonal skills and the ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities.
Staffing/Recruiting/Customer Service Qualifications:
• Schedule caregiver team for hours of service on new and existing clients open hours/shift cases
• Maintain computer schedules and ensure timely data entry for clients and caregivers.
• Contact clients and caregivers regarding day-to-day scheduling changes.
• Monitor the Care Logs on a weekly basis.
• Communicate and reinforce Visiting Angels’ policies and procedures.
• Participate in daily morning meetings with office team
• Maintain positive relationships with all clients and their families and caregivers
• Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to Visiting Angels clients/caregivers
• Rotate On-Call evenings and weekends, as directed.
• Assist with recruiting, testing, and interview process.
• Assist for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training.
• Assist in promoting, leading, and be responsible for a steady flow of job applicants.
• Attend job fairs and other recruiting events.
• Foster community involvement.
• Provide timely reporting to staffing and recruiting management teams.
• Perform other general office functions as deemed appropriate by the management team.
This position requires an individual who possesses a pleasant helpful demeanor.  A person who cares about providing a high level of service to elderly clients with varying degrees of understanding of what they need in the way of service levels.  The individual must understand the health concerns of elderly clients. The individual must be able to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision and must possess a high degree of initiative and the ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities. Required skills include:
• Verbal – good communication skills, appropriate language and an understanding of basic medical terminology, must be easily understood when speaking.
• Computer – must have good computer skills, be able to input data and use various software programs such as; Word, PowerPoint, Google, ClearCare, and other programs that may be introduced to the company.  Software training will be provided for proprietary software, but the position requires someone with the ability to learn the technology changes.
Immediate Hire!
Part Time Hours: Up to 25 hours a week
Compensation rate is $18-$22 per hour.
Visiting Angels requires ALL employees to pass a state-mandated criminal background check, reference check, and drug screen.
