Responsibilities of a Physical Therapy Assistant PTA:
• Assist in performing physical therapy assessments.
• Support the development and implementation of therapy plans.
• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist in monitoring and documenting resident progress.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Contribute to the modification of therapy plans as needed.
• Assist in educating residents and their families.
• Participate in maintaining accurate therapy records.
• Stay updated on industry best practices.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards in the nursing home setting.
Qualifications for Physical Therapy Assistant PTA:
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Kentucky
• Long Term Care Experience a plus
