Position Summary:
An immediate position is available for a Trailer Technician in the Roanoke, Virginia Trailer Shop. Lawrence Companies is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Shop team. This is an hourly full time position, with overtime and weekend work required. Â
Essential Job Requirements
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, including brake, tire, and wheel end repair
• Repair lighting and air system hoses and brake components
• Ensure safe and proper tool usage, including maintenance of all equipment associated with the job
• Track repair order time to completionÂ
• Record all maintenance as required
• Keep working area clean and organized
• Follow written and oral instructions
Qualifications
•
High School Diploma or Equivalent
•
Basic computer knowledge
•
Equipment Maintenance Experience
•
Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of air systems
•
Welding knowledge is preferred
•
Must be dependable and customer service oriented
•
Good verbal communications & documentation skills preferred
•
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
•
Must have valid Virginia Driver’s License
