Job Description
Overview
OHC's in office Oncology Retail Pharmacy is seeking a 32-hour per week staff pharmacist, Monday through Friday between the hours of 08:30am to 5pm. As a staff pharmacist you will play an important role in providing optimal patient care alongside other clinical members of the OHC healthcare team. You will provide counseling and medications, ensuring accuracy and safety while monitoring and documenting patient interventions. OHC has been fighting cancer on the front lines for more than 38 years. Responsibilities
• Fills and dispenses prescriptions while maintaining and evaluating patient profiles.
• Counsels patients on proper use, possible side effects, safe handling, and potential interactions of their oncology medications.
• Conducts and documents medication reviews and recommends appropriate interventions to optimize medication therapy.
• Works closely with a small pharmacy staff including technicians, financial navigator, and other pharmacists.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
-Bachelor's degree or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy
-Current license as a Pharmacist in the State of Ohio
PREFERRED:
-Three years' experience in a pharmacy
-Oncology background preferred but not required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Requires sitting/standing for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
