RECREATION MANAGER
Upper Macungie Township
Breinigsville, PA
(Lehigh County, PA)
Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, PA is seeking an organized, motivated individual to serve as their Recreation Manager.
The candidate should possess strong organizational, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, and be computer proficient.
The position is responsible for the Recreation Department operations, programs, and finances including but not limited to supervising, managing, and evaluating all recreation operations, attend meetings and conduct presentations; coordinate maintenance and manage scheduling of recreation facilities; develop policies and procedures; direct marketing & advertising of recreation center, programs, activities, and events; monitors & updates social media & website.
This position reports to the Township Manager; provides overall direction and supervision over all aspects of the department.
The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, who is personable in all aspects of their interaction with Township staff and the community; they will be forward-thinking with determination to improve/expand programs & events.
The successful candidate must submit to background checks and pre-employment screening.
This position is required to attend Township meetings, which are scheduled in the evening outside of normal working hours .
This position is full-time.
Salary/wage is commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Salary ranges: $85K to $95K per year.
