TBEI - Lake Crystal is a cutting-edge manufacturer of Class 3-8 truck bodies and truck and trailer hoists, with an emphasis on municipal and utility applications. With a worldwide distributor network, our products are the first choice for everyone from landscape professionals to the US Military.
We are currently looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative who is ready to achieve success, highly motivated, energetic and goal oriented. This role will be responsible for maintaining current customer base as well as prospecting for and closing new business.
Responsibilities Include
• Establishing and maintaining new and existing customers through visits and contact calls while maintaining a positive company image.
• Presenting product information to increase and maintain sales.
• Training dealer sales staff on products, demonstrations, and dealer/prospect calls.
• Accurately completing estimates, gathering and processing detailed information for collection and marketing purposes, etc.
• Assisting Sales Manager with development of customer sales programs.
• Assisting with customer service issues.
• Completing call reports, sales forecasting and assisting with maintaining competitor files in a timely manner.
• Demonstrating products both at customer location and trade shows.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to five years outside sales or comparable experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with good driver record required. Commercial driver's license or the ability to obtain highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation. Ability to communicate calmly and effectively while promoting a positive company image.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint preferred).
• Travel required: up to 75% day travel, up to 50% overnight travel.
• Knowledge of truck industry preferred. J-Craft company knowledge strongly preferred.
• Technical knowledge in regards to hydraulics, steel, State and Federal DOT regulations, and various software programs including Syteline preferred.
