**Duties:**
- Provide personal care to patients in their rooms, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are followed.
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
**Skills:**
- Experience in meal preparation and knowledge of dietary restrictions.
- Familiarity with medical systems and procedures.
- Ability to administer medication accurately and safely.
- Strong patient care skills, including empathy and compassion.
- Knowledge of nursing home procedures and protocols.
- Basic cooking skills to prepare meals for patients.
- Proficient in medical records management and documentation.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy.
