We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Medical Assistant to join our team at a doctor's office. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical setting and be a certified Phlebotomist, but this not a requirement. Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture and other phlebotomy procedures. Assist with patient education by providing information about medical conditions and procedures. Work up patients by measuring vital signs such as height, weight, blood pressure and waist circumference, and calculating BMI. Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies. Prepare patients for examination. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Certified Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist certification preferred. Experience working in a medical setting. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
